The
Walker Course at Clemson University
The
18-hole championship John E. Walker Sr.
Golf Course, designed by DJ DeVictor,
serves as home for the Clemson University
2003 NCAA national champion golf team.
The Walker Course is the only one of two
upstate golf courses to be listed in the
30 Best Public Courses You Can Play in
South Carolina, as voted by the South
Carolina Golf Panel.
Designed
to accommodate golfers of all skill levels,
the course measures 6,911 yards in length
from the Tiger Tees and a very playable
5,934 yards from the white tees. The last
five holes, including the signature Tiger
Paw 17th hole, run along the shores of
Lake Hartwell and offer one of the most
